Helicopter

Ok so I was just finished blogging and went downstairs to get the boys some desert. Matt said that there was a helicopter landing in the field across the street. We ran outside and yup there was. They were talking to the family that lives on the edge of the field and kept pointing so we didn't know what was going on. I called Becky and she said it was a helicopter looking for a wedding couple that was meeting them in a sod farm and they were lost. Ooops! Oh well we liked the excitement.

First Day of School

Ok I hate school not only cuz it takes my day away but it took my first day of first grade with Matthew from me! Thanks to Carrie who was there with a hug, kiss and have a good day for me. When I asked Matthew about his first day he said that they only got 1 recess and lunch. I tried to pry more out of him but that was it. I also had to pry out of him his reaction from the tooth fairy visit last night, since I leave at 7am now.
I leave that early because my fellow students decided it would be fun to ride bikes to school every day. Ok it was fun at 7am and mostly downhill. On the way home at 2:30pm and Gordon (hill) not so great or fun. I was sweating like a pig and had to walk the last mile or so. I am glad I can't ride tomorrow due to pass offs. However, I am also glad to be doing it so hopefully my stamina will build.
So now that school has started my life is basically over. I will miss you all and hopefully will see you at church or at GNO or just around. Just know that I do love you and still think about you but just can't leave the house or my table.

GNO and P&P

Ok so we went to Gridelli's last night for GNO and it was Carrie, Mary, Mindy and me. It was great. I was so tired and needed a night out. When we got there Carrie informed us that they closed at 8 so we were bummed that we weren't going to have a long night. I couldn't stand only being gone for an hour so I suggested we watch P&P. Mary was all for it. Mindy wanted to run and cldn't pay the sitter that long. Carrie was torn between that and Breaking Dawn. In the end P&P won out. To be nice to Mary we only watched the first DVD but then I came home and watched the second. I love that movie. I am going to watch the Kiera Knightly one today.

Boooo and Yeah

Ok so my hubby left for CA today and I am unbelievably sad. I missed him just while he went on a few errands to get ready. To help me get over it I have stacked my week so full I don't know how I am going to get it all done. So I figured I would look at blogs now and update mine. I went to my friend Jenn's blog and found this website http://www.twilightthemovie.com/ I cannot wait till that comes out!

Davis Hospital

Ok so yesterday I got to orient to the surgical and medical floors at Davis. I have to admit it was better than I expected. It is a smaller hospital so when we got a little slow on one floor me and the other CNA got to go help the RN on another floor. I learned a lot and had a ton of fun! Most of the patients I saw were pretty sick and every time I did their vitals there was usually something a little off. It was great. Noelia was the CNA that worked with me and she was awesome. The only hard part was that I worked from 3pm to 3am. Tonight I work from 6pm to 6am. I am beat. I haven't stayed up that late and worked since I was in high school so I am not used to it. If we survive mine and the kids school, mine and Matt's work and the house being filthy I KNOW our marraige will withstand anything. I love you Matt!

No sale!

Hear ye, hear ye....The Anderson's house is no longer on the market. Thank you very much!

Twilight series

Ok so my awesome brother in law gave me the 1st book on my IPOD. I started listening to it a couple of months ago. Well I finally finished the 1st book when my class for the summer was over. I asked them the same day (Wed. the 6th) if they had the rest. Steve brought me 2 and 3 on Thurs. I read 2 on Thursday. Book 3 took me 2 days and then book 4 took me 3 days. I could not put it down. I loved them. I am so happy I could just cry and smile for like a week. Thanks Ludlows!

Been a while!

Ok so we have been very busy so here are a few pics of our most recent trips. First off it was Julia's 7th bday this weekend so my dad flew up from Texas and we did some fun things with the kids and the rest of them. We went to the Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy and then went to Chuck E Cheese for lunch. Can I just tell you Matthew about peed his pants when he found out where we were going for lunch! Since he has understood what a commercial was he has asked to go to Chuck's for lunch, that day was Saturday August 9th at 1pm in the year 2008! Here ya go!

Matthew's favorite thing at the aquarium he took this himself.

This was Jeffreys shot of the jellyfish that changed colors!

This was mine! He looks mean and I have never seen a starfish that big!

Here is Matt showing Matthew it isn't a big deal to stick his arm in the water and touch the stingray.

And here are my devilish children as we were leaving!

CHUCK E CHEESE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Game time!

Thanks uncle Mike!

Christopher didn't play games so he just rode the kiddie rides but loved every minute of it! He loved putting the tokens in the machines he didn't care what they did he just put them in.

My first day!

Was VERY boring! It was all hospital orientation so it was a lot of legal stuff and droning on and on. We got to tour the hospital which was good. Since I am PRN and on the Float Pool I will be working all over the hospital. I also got to see where I want to work and meet the manager so hopefully when they have a spot I can fill it. Next day is tomorrow and it will be boring too but at least I am getting paid right?

Leckies come to visit.

I haven't blogged in a while because we had family come in from out of town. My step-dad's sister and her husband, Kay and Glen, came to visit and stay for a couple of weeks. We went over last night to help Glen with a computer problem and ended up staying until late and then we went to dinner. I love them coming and visiting! They love the boys and show so much interest in them and enjoy spending time with them. We talk about all kinds of things and its just very enjoying to see them. We got home last night about 9:30pm and finally got the boys to sleep about 11:30pm. We got up at 8am and went back to my parents house and had breakfast with the Ludlows, Roy and the kids and the Leckies and my parents. Once again it was fun. We talked politics, the history of Gary and Kay in the Masonic home, and about the children of today. We left to come home thinking we were just going to be lazy for the rest of the day but about 6 hours later we were back at my parents for dinner. This time it was just Wes and Sherriann but still fun. We ate dinner and watched AFV. That was funny! Finally getting home about 7:30pm we put the kids to bed at 8:30pm and were asleep by 11pm. Tomorrow is my first day of work/orientation!

Lagoon with the Ludlows

Mindy and the kids were going to Lagoon and called and invited us to go. We met them there at 8pm which is the best time to go to Lagoon for the weather and the amount of people. We got on most of the rides w/o too much of a wait. It was fun thanks Mindy. Especially for the excitement when we were leaving! Here are a few pics of the kids and us having a blast!
