Happy Thanksgiving!

OK so I know I have been lazy but I have been enjoying my week off of school. So here is the low down.

Matthew Jr. went in on Tuesday for his angioplasty (balloon in artery to make it bigger) and the surgeon said that he didn't need to do it. He said that the artery was not narrow enough to need it now. Yahoo. He will need it later but we just have to keep watching him. Phew!

OK but now on to Jeffrey. So on Tuesday he started to get a rash, if you know Jeffrey not really unusual. Well I just figured he was sick like Matthew and Christopher the week before. We gave him until Thursday and decided it was getting bad enough to take him to the Dr. Well the Dr. wasn't used to Jeffrey so he wanted us to take him to PCMC. I told Matt to get a strep test and antibiotics and we would just watch him. So the Dr. left it at that only saying that if the rash turned into blisters and popped we needed to wrap them with antibiotic. Wouldn't you know it the blisters came the next day and they popped that night. Oh man! So now its Sunday night and Jeffrey's arms are the size of my arms if not bigger and blisters all over them. He looks and feels horrible! So first thing Monday morning we took him to his normal Dr. who took blood to do tests and sent us to the dermatologist. He said that the blisters were common with what Jeffrey has and that steroids would help decrease the swelling. OK so as of today Jeffrey is on steroids, antibiotics, Zyrtec and pain reliever for the blisters. He is one medicated kid! He is getting better though.

Christopher is healthy as a horse (knock on wood).

Matt and I are still running and tonight I was supposed to run with Mindy and my Mom but they both chickened out so I went by myself. I ran 7 miles in 1 hour and 27 min. Matt and Mindy and my niece Brittany are going to run a 1/2 marathon next year so Matt is upping his running. He ran 10 miles the other day and then played basketball the next day and felt good. I am so proud of him. He is doing really well and is in first place at his works Biggest Loser competition.

Only 2 more days off and now I am studying for the plethora of tests that are coming. Graduation is on Dec. 17 and I am set to graduate so I am happy just wanting to be done. Love you all.

Happy Halloween!!

Ok so our week ended on a bad note and a good note. Matthew had an MRI on Thursday and they determined that the artery to his left arm is blocked enough that they want to do an angioplasty (balloon) to break up the scar tissue and see if they can improve the flow. So we are now having to plan for that surgery. Then the next day it was Halloween so all is forgotten and the kids get to go crazy and eat candy all day! I had to go to school but Matt took them to the trunk or treat and then to his moms for the first bit. Then we all met at my moms and took them to a few houses. I love Halloween!! Uncle Mike was the scary guy but no one believed us until uncle Mike started to talk then they all would take a pic with him. Christopher was so scared to go to my mom's front door it was adorable, Matthew kept saying he was brave! Jeffrey didn't like the scary music and no lights. It was a blast!
