Christmas at the Andersons, Andersons and Coles

It comes a lot faster when you are trying to enjoy your break. So Christmas Eve was spent at Grandma and grandpa Coles making gingerbread houses. The boys did a good job. Christopher ate more then he put on his house but oh well. The day had finally come and the kids could not have been more excited. Matthew especially! We have never gotten him to bed so easily. I think he fell asleep in about 5 minutes. We awoke to the glory of Santa Claus who is getting smarter about what and how much to buy for the kids. He did pretty good this year, still over budget but not too bad. The kids loved everything they got. We then got to go to Grandma and grandpa Andersons for more presents, according to Christopher only 2 more presents though. Once again a great time as they got more toys that they wanted. Then off to Grandma and grandpa Coles were we made them wait until after lunch (gingerbread house candy, cookies and whatever else they could find) to open presents. The best part of that was when Matthew opened up the Walle from them. Holy crap! I have never heard him screach like that. After presents I took Matt and Christopher home to sleep and went back and played games with the family. We spent the rest of that day and the next 2 days just relaxing and eating and watching TV. Wow I love being lazy. Matt however is hard at work. He has kept up keeping the house clean and trying to pass some kidney stones. I can't wait for New years but I am sad cuz my break it almost done.

My Break

I love my break! So day 1 was Sunday and I did absolutely nothing except lay in bed and read. That night we had a Mama Mia viewing party with my daddy and my sister and her family. It was great! Mindy and I sung all the songs and the boys came down in shifts but loved watching it too. Monday I read some more and then went to the Ludlows and played games. Today I am reading some more. I didn't think I would want to read on my break but I am reading fluff so it is fun. I decided at the last minute to send out Christmas cards so I was taking pics of the kids and us and here is the cutest one I took. I sent out the cards but included a picture of just the boys from the spring. Oh well, MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!

PN Graduation

I made it!!!! Wow that was hard! After my last final of the semester I got to enjoy all my hard work. I went and picked up my kids (minus Matthew-school) and then picked up fer-fer's granddaddy. We then went to a celebratory lunch at Rumbi Island Grill with Matt, Grandpa Cole, Grandma Anderson, Mindy, Grandaddy, Jeffrey and Christopher. At 6 it was time to walk. I have been to several graduations but they are completely different when its yours and its from college. I was never so happy to be sitting there listening to speeches. Jodie, the president of our class gave a really excellent speech about our class and how well we all got along and helped eachother. It was really neat. I really appreciated her comments. A group of my classmates sang Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas with a little twist and then we got our pins. It was so cute to hear my kids yelling in the front row, "There's my mommy and That's my mom." I am so thankful for my husband and for all the help he has been in getting me through this. He has been so supportive and so amazingly understanding with all my mood swings. I know I am not an easy person to live with but he obviously loves me and does everything he can to make sure that my life is going as smoothly as it can. He is a great father, partner and friend. I am the luckiest women in the world, well maybe not as lucky as Bella. Which is a great segway into my next comment. For my graduation present I went to see Twilight all by myself at 9 tonight. OMG that was the best movie! I can't wait until the next one comes out and I almost want to read the books again. (if I felt like reading any books over my 2 week break) I was so into it I giggled every time Edward and Bella got close to eachother. Aaahhhh so romantic!

Update

This week and next week are all tests for me. I have so much studying to do its overwhelming. I hope to see you all after Dec. 17! Hopefully I will survive, hopefully my husband and kids will survive. I kind of stopped doing anything since Friday. So if you see my kids wondering around half clothed just steer them back home and remind me to dress them. Ha ha, lets hope it doesn't get that bad. Wish me luck!
