My Weekends
I am getting to where I really enjoy the weekends right now. They just don't seem long enough. This was another great one. We got to sleep in as there were no more soccer games for a while and the boys let us. Then we went to the Coles for Izzy's birthday party. We left the boys there while Matt and I went grocery shopping. It is so fun having Matt more involved in our daily lives. I know its simple but shopping with him is fun! We picked up the boys and went back home for naps. After that we went to Black Island Farms Pumpkin Patch! What a great way to spend family time. It was expensive but worth it. The kids went down slides that I would have been way to scared to go down. They just zoomed down them and Jeffrey went head first on all of them. Christopher was the first to go down the biggest slide there! I have fearless boys. Then we went through the corn maze. That was tragic because by this time they were all hungry for dinner and all fighting over who got to lead us through the maze but they still had a great time. Then last but definately not least we took the tractor ride to the pumpkin patch and they picked their pumpkins! I have never seen such dedication and such pickiness over an orange ball. We got them home and after feeding them convinced them that tomorrow we would carve them. On Sunday we went to church among much weeping and murmering because they wanted to carve the pumpkins now. Finally on Monday we carved them completely and I think the kids were excited. The pictures speak for themselves. If you know Matthew you will understand, if you don't lets just say that Sonic is his middle name! Love you all!
